Working at the Vet's Office

I went to work with my mom the other who is a Receptionist at a Vet's Office. I have Always had a Love for Animals like my mother, so I taged along that day to help out! I didn't relize that when my mom came home everyday saying how misserable she was because it was deppressing until the other day. It was really slow thaty day and only Me, my Mom and the youngest Vet there Dr. Ashley. I would handle the Labels and files while my mom and Dr. Ashley took care of the Animals. Alot of intresting people come into a vet's office......that's all I have to say about that! But anyways back to the subject, Later in the bday when we were close to closing time, a middle-aged man came in with a towel while my mom and the Dr. were in the back, he said " I need someone, I think it got laid on" and that's it! They all went to the back, accept the man I asked it what it was and he said a new born goat. The goat, hadnt gotten laid, but the mama of the goat never gave the baby it's milk, and it need's that to live, the goat didnt survive! I could never do this as a job and anyone who is a Vet I applaud you, you have a huge heart and are very strong!

Chocolate Blackberry Blondies

                                                                                                                                                                                             Ok, so I just love to Cook and Bake, I watch Martha ALL the time! I was feeling Martha Creative the other night so I decided to make something different! Well, I must admit first that my mom had bought two packs of Blackberry’s and had no clue what to do with them, so she asked me to do something with them. So I took her up on the challenge and thought for hours on end what to do, I finally decided to make do with what I had and stir up a batch of some blondies, with a few special Ingredients! These things are SO delicious that you won’t want to stop at one! Here is my Amazing recipe that your friends, family, and loved one’s will praise you for!

Prep time: 20 minutes Bake: 25 minutes Oven:350*F Makes:36 Bars

                                               Ingredients:

2 cups packed brown sugar

2/3 cup butter

2 eggs

2 teaspoons vanilla

2 cups all- purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

¼ teaspoon baking soda

½ almond, pecan, or cashew

½ cup blackberries

1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate morsels

1.      Preheat oven to 350*F. Grease a 13*9*2inch baking pan set aside. In medium saucepan, heat and stir brown sugar and butter over medium heat until melts and is smooth. Cool slightly then stir in eggs one at a time. Stir in the rest of your ingredients.

2.      Spread into pan evenly. Bake 25-30 min. or until wooden toothpick comes out clean and mess free. Let cool on wire rack until warm enough to eat!       ENJOY!

(P.S. you may notice my Blondies look a little different, that’s because I used the wonderfully perfect “Babycakes” cupcake maker! Don’t have one yet? Go out and get yourself one now. I got mine at our local “ KOHLS” I got it for  about twenty dollars or check it out at Amazon.com. They even have two cute colors to choose from, yellow and pink!)

Still have some left-overs? That’s A-OK, just wrap in a paper towel and heat in micro-wave for about 15-20 seconds……..Just as Good as New

The Carrie Inspiration!

I sit here thinking, every day I do this! I wonder to myself, “What do I do with my life?
“  I love Photography, I do, but I also love to Cook, love Fashion, love Animal’s and love Giving! How can I possibly do all of this? I woke up at noon today, didn’t make my cup of coffee till about one thirty, watched a little Martha then turned on E! to find the Sex and the City Marathon. Carrie was pretty much doing the same thing as me except the whole Sex and the City part! Carrie woke up at noon, ate Chinese and wrote her column of the day! I realized, I love doing that! Writing my own story, making my own hour’s doing what I love without anyone but my two dog’s and cat to bother me, well until my mom and brother get home from there small town job’s, which, if you can’t tell yet, isn’t my life ambition! Maybe soon I’ll get to make my own source of income and get an apartment in an interesting city! Unlike Carrie I’m waiting for marriage! For now, I’m just going to do my Blog and figure out, just what I want in Life! Until then, Enjoy!
